I'm not a "flags collector", in fact, I use to return to a place I loved for a reason or other.
If I had not been thirteen times in the Philippines, fifteen in Moldova, seven in Belarus, more than thirty (!) in the Baltic Republics, for sure would have already been at least in 150 Countrie, but I have no (not so many) regrets.

From where a passion arise is often a mystery.
I love the train and everything concern with rail transport. And I really don't know why. Perhaps because from the window of my room in the house where I lived till I was 16 years old, I saw a railroad and I loved to watch the trains running. Or perhaps I have been influenced by my grandfather stories: during the Second World War many of Naples metro station hosted the fleeing citizens by German air attacks. One night his home was destroyed, but his family -included my mother- survived thanks to the subway. I don't know why, but I know that the first thing I do when I arrive in a new city is visiting the railways station, and, if exist, hopping through metro station.

Borned in Naples, I currently live in Ancona, 400 km distance from my city. And sincerly, i can survive.
What is hard for me is to stay at home for more than 3 months. Than I have to go somewhere, I am travelling addicted...
But having lived in Naples give me big advantage. Everything happen, most probably I have already seen in my city. And the most beautiful and breathtaking places will be always small thing compared with view of Naples bay from Posillipo or Castel S'Elmo
